It’s about time I post something funny. Because, puppets are funny. Here is an example. Jeff Dunham is a pretty famous ventriloquist. Really, this is the only kind of stand-up comedy I can stand watching. Here is Dunham on The Late Show with David Letterman, Sept 21, 2006. He has his curmudgeony old southern man Walter with him.

And here’s a second video with Dunham and a different puppet, a crazy purple monster named Peanut. Peanut is actually much more funny than Walter, in my opinion. 🙂 Even though he does have a terrible TV catch phrase, “That’s gooooooood!” Several other characters come out, resulting in some impressive back-and-forth:

And here is Dunham with another puppet, “Bubba J.” Corny, one-liner jokes abound:

I realize that ethnic stereotypes seem to be the primary subject-matter of this comedy, so I guess we can add some more in that vein. Here is another puppetcharacter of Dunham’s, “Sweet Daddy D.”

Ha. And then, later, backstage:

Congratulations, you’ve just wasted an hour of your life watching YouTube videos!
